Why envelope pricing
Per-seat pricing charges you for how many people log in. Envelope pricing charges for what you actually send. For an application sending documents on behalf of many users, or a firm where several people prepare documents, that keeps the bill tied to volume, and adding a teammate doesn't change it.

Not included today
To be clear about what you're buying: MatterReady Sign is API-first. There is no web dashboard for preparing and sending documents yet, and signers are verified by the private link sent to their email (no SMS or knowledge-based identity checks). Law firms that want point-and-click signing can use the e-signatures built into the MatterReady intake platform.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as an envelope?
An envelope is one document sent for signature. It counts once no matter how many people sign it. Sandbox (test) envelopes never count.
Is there a per-user or per-seat charge?
No. There are no user licenses: the plan is priced by envelopes only, and the 200 included envelopes are shared across everything your account sends.
What happens if I send more than 200 envelopes in a month?
Additional envelopes are $0.50 each. If you expect to send substantially more, contact us about volume pricing.
Is API access an extra cost?
No. The full REST API, webhooks, sealed PDF downloads, and the audit trail are included in the plan.
Is there a free tier?
There is no free production plan. Early-access developers will get sandbox keys to build and test their integration before paying. Sandbox documents are watermarked and are not sealed.
When can I sign up?
