We count engaged matters — matters where the client has signed an engagement agreement. Leads, intakes that don't convert, and any pre-engagement activity are unlimited and do not count against your tier limit. You only pay for matters that turn into clients.
Nothing stops working. If a busy month takes you past your tier's engaged-matter limit, we'll add a matter pack ($50 for 10 engaged matters, $99 for 25, $169 for 50) or help you move to the tier that fits. Matters reset each billing cycle (unused ones don't roll over). Leads remain unlimited at every tier.
Each tier is sized by the attorneys at your firm and includes all the seats they need: Solo includes 3 users total for a 1-attorney firm; Practice includes 10 users total for up to 5 attorneys (plus paralegals and staff); Firm includes 25 users total for up to 10 attorneys. Multi-Office and Enterprise plans include custom user counts — talk to sales.
