About MatterReady
What MatterReady is
MatterReady is intake and qualification infrastructure for law firms. We help firms collect complete client information, assess matter readiness, and surface potential conflicts before attorney review.
The system is designed to support attorney workflows, not replace them. MatterReady prepares information for human judgment—it does not make decisions for your firm.
How it's built
MatterReady is developed and operated in the United States. Engineering and product development are based in New Mexico. Engineering leadership includes former Sandia National Laboratories staff, bringing a disciplined approach to system design and data handling. The system is designed with U.S. legal practices and regulatory expectations in mind.
We work directly with law firms to understand how intake actually functions in practice—not how software vendors imagine it should work.
What we prioritize
- Reliability over novelty. The system should work consistently. We don't chase features that compromise stability.
- Restraint in automation. We automate repetitive tasks, not professional judgment. When in doubt, we surface information for human review.
- Attorney control. Every decision that matters stays with your attorneys. MatterReady informs; your team decides.
- Careful data handling. Client information is handled with the seriousness it deserves. We don't sell data or use it beyond providing the service.
- Clarity over complexity. Simple systems are easier to trust. We build what's needed, not what's impressive.
